4 Days Trekking for Rwanda Gorillas Twice in Rwanda’s Volcanoes national park. This tour takes you to watch two different gorilla families in Rwanda. The tour also includes authentic Rwandan culture in the Ibyiwacu cultural village and Gisozi genocide tour

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Airport pick up – Transfer to Volcanoes national park
Upon arrival at Kigali airport or pick up from your hotel early morning by our company representative and head for a visit of Kigali city to the genocide memorial site.
Later with a lunch transfer to Musanze home of Volcanoes national park for an overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (luxury) / La Palme (mid-range) / Hotel Muhabura (Basic)

Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Rwanda – Visit Ibyiwacu cultural village

In the morning, after breakfast, drive to the park headquarters at Kinigi for briefing before proceeding for gorilla tracking early morning. Visitors are allowed to stay in the presence of the gorillas for at least an hour. Return to the lodge for relaxation and in the evenning, hadout to visit the Ibyiwacu cultural village where you will learn first hand about the culture of Rwanda.

Day 3: Second Gorilla trekking – Visit Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo
Wake up early today for breakfast at your hotel, just like yesterday, and report to the Kinigi park offices for briefing about your gorilla trek. For this trek, you are advised to select a different gorilla group from the one you trekked yesterday so you learn more about these gorillas. Once you meet the gorillas, return back and meet your guide who will drive you back to your hotel for lunch and rest. In the afternoon go out to visit twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo situated within the vicinity of Volcanoes national park.

Day 3: Departure
Return to Kigali for a city tour if you missed one on day 1, visiting the Gisozi Genocide memorial Site and the handicrafts shops before being dropped at the airport for your scheduled return flight.
