Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Forest
Our representative will pick you from the hotel in the morning and drive you to south western Uganda viewing the spectacular sceneries of sometimes called the “Switzerland of Uganda. Lunch en route Mbarara proceed to the northern part of the park at Buhoma. Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Forest Camp / Gorilla resort / Buhoma Homestead.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking and Cultural Walk

Take your early breakfast and head to the park headquarters with your packed lunch for briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Proceed for the memorable adventure penetrating the impenetrable forest in search for the gentle giants. This may take 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the animals. You will spend a maximum time of one hour enjoying the gorillas play, feed or rest while taking your observations and photographs. In the evening, you may go for cultural walk in the nearby Batwa (Pygmies) community, where you will be entertained and given tales of their unique culture. Dinner and overnight at your hotel (Day 1).

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth – Boat Cruise along the Kazinga
You will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park after breakfast passing via Ishasha sector, where you will have game drives to see tree climbing lions and other animals as well as a variety of bird species proceeding to the park. After lunch, you will enjoy a remarkable boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, where you will have an opportunity to see a variety of birds such as the king fisher, herons, blue Turaco to mention but a few and various wildlife for example the hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants as they bask along the channel banks. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Enganzi Safari Lodge/Kingfisher Lodge.

Day 4: Chimps Tracking – Departure

Today you will wake up early morning after your breakfast and head off for chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu eco forest. Chimpanzee tracking usually last 5-6 hours after which return to your hotel for lunch pack your luggage to drive back to Kampala, The drive will take you to stop at the Equator for photographs, and reach Kampala in the afternoon.
